Quality Control

< Back

The quality control process at MASCOT is very comprehensive given that care is taken to be as meticulous as possible at every step.

Control of loom-state fabrics
After the loom-state fabrics are produced, an initial test is conducted before these are sent out for dyeing. A sample is sent to the laboratory in Silkeborg and the dye works cannot proceed further in the process unless approval is obtained. Thereafter, a large batch of fabric is dyed and is sent to the raw material warehouse in Silkeborg. A random check for colour nuances is undertaken before the fabric can finally be sent out for production along with other raw materials.

Control of finished products
When the finished garments arrive in large batches from the various manufacturing sites, a certain number of garments undergo close scrutiny by quality control. The garments are checked for production faults, wrong measurement and so on, in order to ensure that these are as flawless as possible. It is only after quality control approves the entire production batch that these can be stored at the finished goods warehouse ready to be sent out to customers.
